Do you really need a mentor in implant dentistry?

One of the most valuable things I did early in my implant career was ask for help.
Not on everything—but on the stuff that felt big. The case that looked straightforward until the CBCT came in. The patient who had the budget but not the bone. The moment I realised I was doing well—but could be doing better.
In those moments, having a mentor made a massive difference.
Implant dentistry isn’t just clinical. It’s emotional. It’s business. It’s decision-making under pressure. You can watch all the webinars and complete all the CPD, but if you don’t have someone you can speak to about your real cases, you’ll still feel stuck.
That’s why I now offer one-to-one mentoring. Not because I have all the answers—but because I’ve made all the mistakes, and I know how helpful it is to talk things through with someone who’s been there.
Mentoring doesn’t have to be long-term or overly formal. Sometimes it’s one call. Sometimes it’s a regular check-in. Sometimes it’s the difference between placing with confidence… or hesitating and losing the opportunity.
So if you’ve got a case on your mind, or you're unsure how to scale your implant offering, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. Book a session, and let’s talk it through.
You’ve got this. And if you don’t—I'm here to help until you do.
