Why immediate implants are changing everything

When I first began placing implants, the idea of immediate placement felt like something only the most advanced clinicians could pull off. It sounded complex, high-risk, and frankly—unrealistic for day-to-day practice. But over time, as technology, training, and workflows improved, I started to realise something: immediate implants aren’t just possible—they’re often the most predictable and patient-friendly option available.
Today, I place immediate implants every week. And it’s completely transformed the way I work.
Immediate placement—extracting a tooth and placing the implant in the same appointment—has several advantages when done properly. It can preserve bone, reduce the number of surgical interventions, and lead to faster aesthetic results. But what’s even more exciting is how it can change your confidence and capacity as a clinician.
I see a lot of dentists who are confident with delayed placement but unsure when to transition into immediacy. The key isn’t just about surgical skill (although that helps)—it’s about case selection, treatment planning, and having a system you can trust.
That’s exactly why I created the Implant Immediacy course. I wanted to offer a hands-on, honest training experience that helps clinicians understand when and how to offer immediate solutions—with clarity, not confusion. You’ll learn not just the theory, but the practical steps to introduce immediacy into your workflow safely.
If you’re already placing implants but want to improve your confidence with immediacy, this course is designed for you. And if you’re not quite ready yet? Start by observing some of the clinical cases I’ll be sharing here on the blog and in the case gallery. When you're ready, I'll be here.
